Job Description

 

Ralph Lauren is looking for a motivated Associate to be a part of the APAC Ecommerce team to support the digital/ecommerce growth across multiple markets in the region focusing on APAC markets. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams in APAC office as well as in-country ecommerce teams to drive ecommerce business strategies and manage performance. The Associate will report directly to the Manager of Channel Development, APAC E-commerce and will play an important role in building digital brand strength and driving brand elevation of Ralph Lauren. Candidates with prior experience in ecommerce and/or digital/traditional marketing will be highly valued.

 

Responsibilities 

Support Manager of Channel Development in managing digital marketing & branding activities across multiple markets and channels, including but not limited to:  

  • Provide support in planning and managing seasonal site content refresh process across multiple markets/channels in partnership with APAC Production, APAC Ecom Allocations, and country ecommerce teams
  • Support the country teams on any in-season marketing/creative briefing process
  • Own brief submission and creative asset hand-off process by partnering with APAC Production/Creative Design Team in New York; ensure creative assets are to spec, meet the marketing/business objectives, and are delivered to account(s) on time
  • Coordinate creative or copy review process for locally produced contents
  • Help conduct site/content QA, including but not limited to: reviewing quality of digital product images/descriptions, marketing banner placements, accurate product information (e.g. price, material)
  • Assist in developing annual marketing plans, updating various marketing/promotion calendars on a weekly/monthly basis, and track progress of key projects and on-going initiatives
  • Help analyze effectiveness of marketing campaigns; propose new ideas; support driving impactful performance campaigns  
  • Support country teams on weekly ecommerce KPI tracking exercise
  • Assist in marketing budget management process; submit monthly expense forecast and accrual reports
  • Develop understanding of key product strategies of each brand by season and support the country teams on developing/executing strategic marketing campaigns to drive engagement, traffic, and impact conversion
  • Understand consumer purchase journey; recommend ways to optimize marketing activities and improve customer experience 

 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
  • 2 years’ experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, or FMCG marketing background preferred
  • Fluency in English is a must, additional language proficiency in Japanese or Korean highly valued
  • Excellent organization, communication, time-management, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, collaborative, self-starter, responsible, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactive, creative, high appetite to learn
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Advance proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word
