Key Responsibilities 

• Leading a China team to work out the product cost breakdowns for quotations
• Coordinate different parties on project costing progress   
• Collaborate with product development teams to work out the design concepts in the most cost effective way;
• Analyze and make cost assessment on different design scenario and concepts in order to feedback the development team managers as part of the design process.
• Review and audit the actual manufacturing costs after production in order to provide more accurate cost breakdowns in future;
• Participate in cost savings and enhancement work by providing a reliable and timely input;
• Liaise with plastic tool makers and follow up the cost approvals and payments
  
  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree in Management/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Industrial Engineering or related discipline;
• At least 6 to 10 years of experience in costing (toys) and at least 2 years in leading a costing team to work;
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of relevant products cost buildup;
• Familiar with the costs of the plastics, fabrics and electronic components which are generally used in toys;
• Familiar with the toys manufacturing processes and the corresponding processing times:
• Disciplined and self-starter, can work under pressure independently;
• Confident to communicate with all levels and different cultural of people;
• Good people management skill and able to lead, motivate and inspire a team;
• Fluent in Cantonese, English & Mandarin;
• Positive, outgoing and good interpersonal skills;
• Frequent travel or station in China factory would be required; 
• Advanced in computer skill (MS Word, Excel, Power Point….)
