The Job:

• Lead, manage and supervise a technical training team composed of engineers and assistant engineers to provide high quality and cost-effective trainings, locally or overseas, to trainees on mission-critical air traffic control systems including communications, navigational aids, radar and air traffic management systems and ancillary support systems such as structural copper/fibre cabling network, CCTV systems and to support the operations and maintenance service on air traffic control systems
• Work in irregular hours including overnight, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are required
• Outdoor work is required

The Person:

• Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers elected after 5 December 1975 or equivalent with at least 4 years’ post-qualification working experience in electronics, telecommunication, technical training or equivalent engineering field, 2 years’ experience in supervisory position; or
• Bachelors’ degree in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunication/Information/ Computing Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 6 years’ solid and proven working experience in electronics, telecommunication, technical training or equivalent engineering field; or
• Higher diploma or above in Electronic/Electrical/Telecommunication/Information /Computing Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ solid and proven work experience in electronics, telecommunication or equivalent engineering field
• Solid working experience in airport systems for Hong Kong airport is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in technical training delivery on electronic, telecommunication and IP-based computerized data processing systems
• Strong leadership, analytical, self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently under pressure with strong desire to deliver high quality of works and achieve targets
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Able to communicate in Putonghua is an advantage
