Our client is a leading Technology solutions provider across the region and is currently focused on delivering large scale digital transformation project for an international Bank. Therefore, they are seeking DevOps specialists to join them and provide production support through the whole service management life cycle. 

Job Description

• Improve the maturity of the DevOps support in the Ops part of DevOps resulting in a sustainable DevOps culture in the company
• Guide cross functional teams through incident management, production support, monitoring and alerting
• Help to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the whole service management life cycle (in development, test and production environments)
• Help to build the best end-to-end service monitoring solutions to enable instant notification of issues to the appropriate support team

Responsibilities

• Participate as a global team and provide support for multiple applications and infrastructure
• Define standards for monitoring requirement
• Drive the implementation of monitoring activities
• Design proactive measures for incident avoidance or early incident detection

 Requirements

• Solid experience in production support with strong technical competencies in DevOps Pipeline
• Experience on Agile methodology and DevOps adaptation in the banking environment is definitely an advantage
• Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk is desirable
• Platform knowledge across Unix, Linux, Java, Apache, Database, & MQ technologies
• Scripting knowledge across scripting languages such as Bash, Perl is preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and Mule ESB is a plus
• Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration environments is a plus
• Strong fault finding/diagnostics/trouble-shooting skills
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese

The role involves working on an out of hours on call rota that will include weekends and Bank Holidays.
