Job Description

Database Administrator

5 Days work

Responsibilities

Responsible for of DB maintenance and administration of Oracle environment
Manage preventative maintenance activities, ensure the stability of Database and corresponding service
In charge of high availability configuration and performance tuning
Evaluate data analysis models and procedures
Create accounts for all users and assign security levels
Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution

Requirements

Degree holder, preferably in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of experience or above in database administrator and preferably gained in sizable company
Familiar with main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design communication
Basic understanding of disaster recovery and database backup procedure
Experience in the mixed environment of Oracle and SQL would be a plus
Good teamwork and negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skills
