Commercial Development Director- International Event and Media Entity

Our client is an international entity that represents the interests of mobile operators globally, which organizes some of the biggest events and conferences in the industry, is now seeking for an experienced Commercial Development Director to join their professional team. This position would be based in Shanghai and oversee all commercial opportunities in not only China, but also some of the key countries in APAC region.

Responsibilities:

·         Establish good relationship with government entities to gather first hand information mobile regulations, in order to provide guidelines on events or conference

·         Develop customer relationships within the Asia Pacific

·         Provide insight and suggestion to Head of Event, Asia, about the regional competitor landscape, in order to maintain the leadership in Asia

·         Build strong network across Shanghai to create and identify new commercial partnerships and business opportunities

Requirement:

·         8-10 years of experience of generating commercial revenue, preferably from tech/mobile/telecommunication/event industry.

·         Knowledge in China and APAC market and business partnership

·         Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communication or related discipline.

·         Proven track record of leading a regional team

·         Proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must
