Job Description

Our Client is a global testing company in worldwide and now looking for a Senior Manager (Audit & Inspection) to join their company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement and Simplification – Champion IT System implementation, review global processes and practices to improve speed, quality, and value for clients, and eliminate non value added touchpoints.
  • Resource Management: Global P&L Ownership for Global Service Line focused on Social Compliance Auditing and Advisory Services. Develop and maintain Cost Management Systems, leveraging business intelligence tools and ensuring financial accountability of the organization.
  • Ensure Clear Roles & Responsibilities: Review Organizational clarity, goals, KPI’s, and accountability for both teams and individuals.
  • Mentorship & Talent Development: Lead Regional Operations Managers to develop plans and capacity to achieve financial targets, and to build capacity to meet client audit and advisory requirements. Provide ongoing career counselling, feedback, and guidance to Direct Reports, and their teams. Support Divisional leadership with succession planning and talent development efforts. Develops a competent team by overseeing the selection, development and training of team members. Maintains an awareness of employee morale and institutes appropriate employee-relations activities.
  • Oversight of the Client Services / Advisory Functions: Drives customer loyalty by engaging in regular customer interaction.  Anticipates customer needs and provides proactive solutions. Gathers shares and responds to customer feedback. Coaches and mentors staff to do the same.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development: Seamlessly forecast and build capacity and onboard new client programs. Assists Industry Lead in the development of capacity and capability strategies by sharing operational, customer and market intelligence.  
  • Collaborate with the Quality Function: Complete the implementation of ISO 17020 and the implementation of the Competency Based Auditor Qualification system. Ensure a score card system exists to review performance and areas of development for Auditor.
  • Support the Mission: Ensures all staff within Responsible Sourcing comply with established policies and requirements, including but not limited to Ethics & Integrity, Quality System Requirements, and Corporate Policies. Communicates and exemplifies company’s Vision and Mission. Leads employees to openly suggest, promote and embrace change.

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Ten (10) + Years Experience in a senior leadership and operational capacity in the retail consumer product industry, with an understanding of the TIC Market with a track record of resource and people management.
  • Background or working knowledge of Social Compliance Auditing is highly preferred, as a retailer, service provider, or industry stakeholder is highly preferred.
  • University Degree (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) in Business Administration, in a related field plus generally ten years directly related experience, including generally five years of relevant management/leadership experience. 
  • Demonstrates an advance understanding of how decisions impact business results, management concepts such as effectively building a diverse team and planning and thinking strategically.
  • Ability to manage employee performance through development of performance expectations and goals, managing employee relations issues, identifying and addressing training needs, planning and executing against required staffing levels and assisting in operational planning.
  • The ability and track record to operate in a global environment.
  • Effectively manage employees and other team leads.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make the complex simple and present information in a concise, relevant and powerful manner.
  • Analyze and interpret a wide variety of material including analyses, data, financial reports and/or legal documents.
  • Ability to learn, listen and teach.
  • Demonstrate customer collaboration, project management and business acumen skills.
