Job Description
Purpose:
- Drive and coordinate Footwear Sourcing internal projects across Liaison Offices (LOs)/Functions
- Drive cross-divisional/functional projects on behalf of Footwear Sourcing, incl. management of FTW-internal alignment
- Drive continuous improvement activities within the Footwear Sourcing community
- Support the Director Supplier Management & Projects in business analytics; and in identifying/implementing initiatives that enhance the capabilities, efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration within Footwear Sourcing
Key Responsibilities:
- Own assigned projects end-to-end within Footwear Sourcing; incl. definition of deliverables and KPIs, creation of project plans and timelines, monitoring and driving of progress, and post-implementation assessments of project success
- Work with subject matter experts to provide content input into projects, and to achieve optimal solutions for the adidas Group
- Provide regular and structured updates on project achievements and challenges
- Drive process/system standardization and improvements; e.g. tailor development and commercialization process to design-for-speed, consolidate adidas/reebok planning codes, harmonize mi-adidas/your-reebok processes and standard operating procedures, etc.
- Support development and enhancement of advanced software tools for Sourcing Operations; e.g. to support Allocation strategy
- Proactively assess and suggest improvement opportunities for Footwear Sourcing across LOs/functional areas
- Manage selected activities as defined by Director Supplier Management & Projects
- Proactively work across functions to identify and resolve issues that are posing obstacles to the business.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and ability to ‘connect dots’
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate at senior management level
- Ability to motivate and lead teams of diverse professionals
- Good understanding of process / system landscape relevant to Footwear Sourcing
- Good knowledge of Footwear industry and manufacturing methods a plus
- Good knowledge of standard Software applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate university degree
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in operations or project management
- Fluency in English, knowledge of another language an advantage
