Job Description
Responsibilities:
1.Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Implement, modify and oversee comprehensive quality control system globally for all A-TEX logistic centres and merchandising teams
- Investigate production issues, and advise corrective and preventive action
- Identify quality improvements for suppliers
- Provide training, advice to vendors / suppliers and A-Tex staffs
- Monitor & maintain the in-house physical testing lab and procedures in Dongguan
- Conduct on-site inspection (in-line and Final) at factory according to AQL standard
- Complaint Cases Follow Up, Review & Analysis
2.Physical Test Review and Control
- Review and understand physical requirement tests from customers
- Communicate and manage physical requirement with vendors
- Negotiate with international testing labs for global terms and conditions
3.Vendor Management and company certification/audit system monitoring
- New supplier/factories visit and evaluation
- Maintain the FSC audit
- Plan and conduct factory audits
- Provide coaching and training to vendors to assist them to be compliance
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Textile or Quality Management is a plus
- 7-8 years of experiences in Quality Assurance and Certification field (FSC, EUTR, CSR, AQL, SVHC, REACH, etc.)
- 5 years in mid-level position at international buying office and accredited testing labs is an advantage
- Good knowledge of EU product safety compliance, preferably with garment / trims / printing manufacturing experience for EU market (i.e. Woven label / Hangtag etc.)
- Problem-solver with good planning, execution and analytical ability
- Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish good relationship with internal and external parties
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Occasionally travel to China (mainly Guangdong province) and sometimes to other countries
