KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Open / Amend Import L/Cs and Transfer / Amend Export L/Cs
• Verify Import and Export Bills documents
• Arrange payments in connections with Import and Export L/C
• Inward and Outward documentary collections
• L/C Advising and Confirmation
• Trade Finance Advances
• Investigate and answer enquiries in related transactions
• Receive and check incoming SWIFT messages and faxes

REQUIREMENTS: 

•  6-month temporary contract
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in import and export bills operations in bank
• Hands-on experience in UCP600 and ability to apply the rules to examine documents drawn under L/C
• Good knowledge in URC522 and ability to apply the rules to handle bills for collection
• Good knowledge in URR725
• Ability to handle export L/C, e.g. advising/ confirmation, presentation of documents and payment
• Ability to handle import L/C, e.g. insurance, receipt of drawings / documents and payment
• Ability to handle import and export collection on D/A or D/P terms
• Import and Export loan drawdown and repayment
• Use of SWIFT
