Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in translating Global Sources’ business and marketing objectives into social media strategies and plans
- Devise effective social media PPC campaigns to promote website, features and content to relevant target audience
- Involved in planning and execution of social media PPC campaigns (including audience research, develop messaging, conceptualizing ads, etc.) to achieve marketing goals
- Identify, develop and test new social media channels to achieve marketing goals
- Increase visibility and engagement of company’s social content through paid promotion
- Regularly track and analyse campaign results to identify opportunities and optimize campaign performance
- Analyse appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices to improve results
- Involved in budgeting and monthly review / reporting of campaign results to management
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, New Media)
- 1 to 2 years of experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English
- Familiar with web and social analytics tools
- Knowledge of digital marketing and good understanding of major social media channels
- Demonstrated ability to apply innovative practices into digital marketing projects
- Enjoys critical and creative thinking
- Be a team player and yet be able to work independently
- Self-driven and highly motivated
