Overview

The successful candidate will help us create the best travel-reservation solutions for the fast growing travel industry and help our international business unit to expand and capture overseas markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and defining new best-in-class travel product experiences, optimizing existing products to maximize user benefit, improving the user experience to rise the Conversions Rates, and managing tradeoffs in project roadmaps. You will work with all groups of the company to achieve your goals, which requires you must be flexible, responsive, and action-oriented.

The successful candidate should have experiences in both online and mobile product management (front end), a good understanding and knowledge of software development, strong analytical and problem solving skills, passion for creating outstanding products and user experiences, and excellent communication skills to quickly ship and iterate products.

  

Responsibilities

  •  Work with cross-functional teams to propose, evaluate, and prioritize product features to shape the development roadmap of Trip’s international APP, Wap, and online products.
  • Write and deliver product requirement documents for projects proposed by all internal stakeholders.
  • Guide technical integration of existing products with mobile ecosystems.
  • Triage & prioritize bugs, change requests, work items, & investigation requests.
  • Optimize existing online and mobile reservation process and features, through data analysis, measurement, and testing.
  • Coordinate rapid, smooth, and successfully iterative product launches in close collaboration with Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing and Quality Assurance stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ online and mobile product management or product design experience, OTA product management experience is a big plus.
  • Experience with mobile application development, mobile network design/operation.
    Strong communicator, both verbal and written, proven ability to coordinate different teams of Engineers, Designers and Marketing people.
  • Fast leaner for complicated online travel business, and tightly coupled internal systems and APIs of the company.
  • Action orientated, willing get your hands dirty and do what it takes to deliver results.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
