Job Description
The primary responsibility of a translator is to translate from English into Chinese and vice versa mainly in the legal/financial/commercial field.
Key Responsibilities
Translate from English into Chinese or vice versa as assigned by project managers
Edit or proofread completed translation as assigned by project managers
Maintain linguistic assets (e.g. glossary, etc.)
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor degree or above in language or translation or relevant discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in one or more of the following fields
1) legal (contracts, litigation, etc.)
3) tourism
Proficiency in MS Word is a must
Attentive to details while translating and revising
Tech-savvy, able to use computer-assisted translation tools
Able to meet tight deadline and work under pressure
