Jockey Club Sarah Roe School is a special school for children and young people who have severe learning difficulties aged between 5 and 19.

Responsibilities

An experienced Occupational Therapist is required to join a dedicated and supportive team of teachers and therapists who work collaboratively to empower students reach their full potential. The post involves working with young people with complex sensory and behavioral difficulties through direct intervention, in-class support, consultation and training. Our ideal candidate will have experience of young people with autism and sensory processing disorder, experiences in vocational training for post-14 students and be interested in service development.

Requirements

The successful candidates must:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Have a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of recent developments in Occupational Therapy research and practice
  • Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be registered with the Supplementary Medical Professions Council of Hong Kong (Part 1 of Register)


Note -

Applicant with less than 2 years of working experience or fresh graduate may be considered, however the employment package will be subject to negotiation in these circumstances
