Tasks

•  Responsible for tracking, monitoring and raising awareness as to the progress of order
• Source new suppliers and products to ensure customers’ satisfaction
• Maintain strong business relationship with vendors in Asia by fostering open communication
• Negotiate with vendors to balance pricing and customers‘ cost and quality requirements
• Host and maintain an open communication within team as well as with cross functional department (Buying/ Quality/ Logistics/ Marketing) in Hong Kong/Asia and/or Germany
• Partner with Quality and Corporate Responsibility department in Hong Kong/Asia and/or Germany to ensure delivery of quality products that meet or exceed our customers’ needs/expectations
• Ensure on-time delivery and proactively identify/resolve operational issues
• Organize and accompany buying/sourcing trips with customers
• Perform assigned sourcing projects
• Foster knowledge and experience transfer within team
• Perform other ad hoc duties

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years working experience in related merchandising field, which at least 2 years in Toy industry is a MUST
• Experience in handling German / European market will be an advantage
• Energetic, self-motivated, pro-active and independent working style
• Eager to work in a team in order to achieve best results
• Strong interpersonal and time management skill
• Well-organized, self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently
• Good MS Office (Excel / Word / Powerpoint / Outlook) skills
• Good command of both spoken & written English & Chinese
• Less experience will also be considered as Merchandiser
