Job Description
REPORT TO: Senior Merchandiser
THE JOB:
- Support Merchandiser in order process and follow-up with suppliers and factories
- Handle independently a small product group
- Sample handling and checking
- Maintain and update order tracking system
- Support with price negotiation
- Provide admin support such as generating reports
- Occasionally travel to visit suppliers
THE PERSON:
- Diploma or above, with English & Chinese passed in HKCEE / DES
- Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience as Assistant Merchandiser
- Experience and knowledge of Stationery products preferred
- Experience of European Market would be an asset
- Experience on collecting information and follow-up packaging artwork
- Pro-active, strong self-motivation and diligent
- Detail-minded and good time management. Able to follow up through ordering process and keep track on project deadlines
- Excellent team player with can-do attitude
- Good communication skill and able to communicate across different departments
- Multi-cultural environment experience is an advantage
- Proficient in verbal and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
- Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
