Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities for translation and other multilingual communication services.
• Establish and maintain good client relationship.
• Contribute to the drafting of service contracts, present proposals and secure client acceptance of quotes.
• Establish contact with key personnel and decision makers where document translation and localization are utilized within prospective client organizations.
• Partner with Customer Services/Project Managers to define client requirements and to ensure client satisfaction on delivered services.
• Identify new market-sector opportunities in alignment with current and emerging operational capacity.
• Provide timely and accurate reports to management including sales forecast reports.
• Some local travels will be required to attend conferences and conduct demonstrations for key prospective clients.
• Perform duties successfully with limited supervision in a remote capacity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• At least 3-4 years working experience in sales & marketing and customer services related to the translation services/ media/ publishing/ financial services/ legal sectors.
• Consultative selling and negotiation skills, and proven ability to build and sustain successful ongoing business relationships.
• Commitment to quality, integrity and diversity.
• Solid analytical skills and competency in budgeting, reporting and general business economics.
• Superior written and spoken communication skills including fluent capabilities in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Computer skills including Windows, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and email etc.
• Knowledge in translation industry/ financial printing/ publishing field and translation CAT tools is a plus.
• Passion for language and appreciation for diverse cultures culture is a plus.
• Less experience will be considered as Business Development Executive.
