The Job:

• Translate documents and terms and conditions from English to Chinese (and vice versa)
• Review and vetting of marketing materials and terms and conditions including but not limited to contests, games and marketing promotions 
• Conduct online trade mark and company searches to assist Group Legal Office in the provision of legal advice
• Handle trade mark/patent procedural matters
• Review relatively straightforward or standard agreements, e.g. non-disclosure agreements, research
• Deal with personal data and privacy issues
• Assist in preparing documents for internal compliance procedures
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The person:

• University/Diploma holder with minimum 3 to 5 years relevant legal experience
• Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with both instructing lawyers and business teams
• Mature, self-motivated and attentive to details
• Able to independently manage tasks and take necessary steps to accomplish them in an organized and timely manner
• General commercial experience. Familiarity with intellectual property, media and entertainment matters; and personal data/privacy issues an advantage
• Good drafting, negotiation, problem solving and communications skills both in English & Chinese
