BEC is looking to recruit a Project Officer to implement a funding project with topic related to waste management.

Terms of Employment: 3-year contract

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support various activities under the funding project such as setting up of waste management system; conducting training, promotion and education activities
• Contribute to the set-up of waste performance benchmarking platform and close monitoring of the waste data; and
• Maintain regular communication with project participants, funding body and service providers

Requirements:

• Degree or above (sustainability / environmental or related discipline is an advantage)
• At least one-year relevant experience in implementation of environmental related projects
• Demonstrated project coordination skills
• Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience on website development and data management will be preferred; and
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
