BEC is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to manage a funding project with topic related to waste management.

Terms of Employment: 3-year contract

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage overall operations of the project while reporting regularly to the Project Director
• Maintain close communication with project participants and coordinate all necessary hardware setup and education activities
• Liaise with major stakeholders including but not limited to project participants, the funding body, business sector, schools and service providers; and
• Ensure project deliverables meet the budget, timeline, and requirements

Requirements:

• Degree or above (sustainability / environmental or related discipline is an advantage)
• Minimum 7 years relevant project management experience, preferably in managing government funded projects
• Excellent project management skills, in particular, managing project resources, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Track record of managing large-scale projects and waste-related is preferred
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, well-organised and a good team player; and
• Candidate with professional recognition would be an advantage
