Job Summary

The Travel Retails Sales Manager will be responsible for the travel retails business within the Asia region, constructing business strategies to maximize revenue and profit and to achieve the company’s objectives. They will need a strong understanding of the travel retail business and have a strong track record. The job will involve strong negotiations skills to cooperate with different business partners for building up new sales channels and internal parties.

Frequently travel is required for tracking different stores operation and monitors the sales performance.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop travel retails strategy and plans for Asia Pacific region
  • Coordinate all travel retails activities in Asia Pacific region and with internal partners in other region
  • Drive the sales to reach the targets by implementing company strategies
  • Manage the airport / downtown / inflight duty free business for Asia Pacific
  • Provide support and expertise to Asia Pacific colleagues in Singapore and Shanghai offices for travel retails business
  • Drive and maintain a good business relationship with key business partners in the region to continuously grow the sales within the territories
  • Manage sales analysis to provide advisory for action plans to drive sales
  • Build up strong relationship with both internal & external customers and motivate them to achieve company’s objectives and accountable for the profit and loss
  • Strengthen relationship with key accounts by implementing sales and marketing programs
  • Provide regular reports to management with recommendations and action plans
  • Maximum sales & brand awareness by offering the highest standard of sales and service support
  • Develop new accounts and channel for existing and new brands
  • Responsible for assortment and demand planning
  • Monitor and analyze market sales trend
  • Maintain high quality of customer service 

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in business related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years travel retails sales experience in Asia Pacific and strong relationship with travel retail customers
  • Minimum 5 years’ regional sales experience, luxury brands and watch industry a definite advantage
  • Result-oriented and willing to work independently
  • Ambitious and with great desire to grow with the company
  • Can-do attitude and self-motivated
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
