DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

Officer (Website Design) (Half-time/Part-time) (Ref. 18052805)
[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will be will be required to:

(a) design the departmental website including the structures, layout and appearance;

(b) coordinate system support, testing and launching of the departmental website;  

(c) provide training to end-users for periodic updating of the website; and

(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his/her delegates.

Qualifications:

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Multimedia Design or related disciplines;

(b) have at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience in related areas with a proven track record in website development;

(c) be familiar with the programming languages of HTML5 and CSS3;

(d) have design skills and sound knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver; and

(e) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua.

Remuneration

For half-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.

For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$180 per hour.
