Job Responsibilities: 

1. To initiate, explore and advise Fixed Income Portfolio Managers on good potential trading opportunities based on rigorous analysis and strong evidence;
2. To assist Fixed Income Portfolio Managers to monitor positions, P&L and market risks;
3. To generate required analysis including credit, relative value identification, valuation and economic analysis;
4. To develop, maintain and update investment pipeline, resources, database and reports;
5. To research and evaluate macro and micro investment opportunities, assess industry dynamics, and based on the fundamental insights acquired to develop and maintain systematic strategies;
6. To assist in due diligence, modelling, valuation, profitability analysis, scenario analysis, statistical analysis, benchmark comparison when necessary;
7. To supervise investment strategies and evaluate the process of transaction structuring and suggestion plan for improvement.
8. To conduct fundamental research on companies, industries, market and macroeconomic trends;
9. To perform financial forecast and return analysis to facilitate investment decision and transaction structuring.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business related subjects;
2. At least 8 years of experience;
3. Knowledge and working experience in stock market/ fixed income product (including cash and derivatives) will be an advantage;
4. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis;
5. Good knowledge of respective local and international regulatory requirements;
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills;
7. Excellent in writing and speaking in English, Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin is a must;
8. Strong sense of confidentiality with personal integrity and code of professional ethic.
