We are a corporate aircraft management company and seeking for a Safety and QA Manager to join us. The role is an integral one, overseeing and ensuring strict adherence to the latest version of all related National Aviation Authorities Regulations, company approved manuals publications, manufacturer’s directives, company policies and procedures, Quality Control Manual and the Aviation Safety affecting quality and personnel/equipment safety issues.

Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.

• Manage the overall Safety Management System for the Company - running safety meetings; preparing and assisting in audits and reporting procedures; running the Company Emergency Response Plan (ERP) desktop exercises, and other safety related exercises.

• Offer specialized advice during any safety incident and accident investigations, in accordance with the company procedures, and assisting the relevant authorities in the identification of underlying causes of the incident/accident and recommending remedial action;

• Responsible to communicate to all staff, useful flight safety information received from other Operators, Manufacturers, Airworthiness Authorities and other sources, whilst identifying relevant safety publications for purchase by the Company;

• Provides periodic related safety and quality reports to management on the Company’s safety program and compliance;

• Monitoring, in conjunction with other departments, the training for flight operations or maintenance personnel in compliance with the Company’s training manual such as Aircraft type, evacuation drills, first aid, proficiency, fire aid proficiency, fire and smoke emergency procedures, water survival training and the knowledge, location and the use of on board safety equipment.

• Producing and executing an annual schedule of internal audits of managed fleet to include operating policies and practices. Execute and upkeep Audit findings for internal and external systems. Assist with Engineering on audits for external sub-contractors and vendors.

• Ensuring that a record of accidents and incidents is maintained, and analyzing existing databases with a view to determining trends, liaising as necessary with staff.

• Documentation control and record keeping, in view of conducting management yearly reviews. Seek to continuously improve safety and quality standard for the Company

• Manual review and amendment for the SMS, QA or Security Manual when necessary

• In-charge of the ISBAO audit for the Company.

• Maintain as a post-holder in the relevant capacities for the Company.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Aviation or training in Safety Management System is a MUST;
• A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Safety/ QA audit role;
• Possesses knowledge on the principles of aircraft operations including understanding of the aviation regulatory requirements;
• Multitasking and able to work independently
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
