RAP COM  – Hong Kong

Report to : Regional Customer Order Management (COM) Manager, Asia Pacific

Job Description:

  • Support and monitor the LBUs/Areas in RAP to compliance with defined processes and requirement. To process continuously improvement and assignment of accountability to maximize productivity, minimize errors in booking and documentation processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships between our staff, LBUs, Areas and Customer Order Management department in the head office with an understanding of different party requirements and the delivery of an efficient, reliable, and quality service.
  • Direct the Regional Customer Service Export, Customer Service Import and Documentation Export organization by introducing more efficient and transparent processes within the RAP.
  • Validate newly entered BPs in the System, performs the Name and Address Validation, Duplication Check, Blacklist Check, and maintains FI-Accounts and Tax IDs in Business Partner Module.
  • Assign e-Commerce Channel and Products to Business Partner in GLOBE which represent links between Hamburg Sud’s IT Systems and External Systems (standard available e-Commerce Portal: Cargosmart, GT Nexus and INTTRA) for sending electronic information to customers.
  • Coordinate with the Area Customer Order Management department on process development and trouble shooting.
  • Close coordination and communication among Area Customer Order department in RAP,
  • Act as a back-up / support of GLOBE, Booking, Docsys and COM issues in RAP and assist RAP offices / agents to resolve outstanding issue with Regional office in RAP
  • Expend internal knowledge of international processes and requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Preferably Degree or Diploma holder
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and written in English, fluent oral Mandarin and Cantonese
  • 1 years working experience in shipping or logistics industry or similar experience in   process management
  • Excellent Knowledge on MS Office applications
  • Result oriented and decisive
  • Ability to quickly respond to changing market and working environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, able to work fully independently and under pressure
  • Proficient in English and other as required
  • Good telephone manner according to company requirement
  • Always demonstrate as an excellent example for other staff
  • Able to manage a team to deliver the required quality customer service
  • Able to coordinate across Area office for the customer service, document issues
