Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) is the only regional industry body for the fast growing self storage industry in the whole of Asia. Self Storage, in major cosmopolitan centres and housing estates is a fundamental need for both residential and commercial purposes as quite simply, cities are running out of space.

The SSAA is working pro-actively with current and potential facility owners, investors, and suppliers to achieve strength in unity as a community for long term growth of the industry. Through our membership services, we currently engage our members by way of education, information, marketing, events, advocacy, and networking.

• Have a regional role working with companies throughout Asia
• Manage your own projects

• Have input into the biggest regional decisions for marketing, events, and growth strategies

We are seeking a positive, creative, and hard-working Marketing and Event Executive. The position is very management oriented as you will gain amazing exposure throughout every country in Asia and get to work independently with executives in multiple languages, and on different projects. As a small organization, the opportunity for you is to grow your skills, do exciting work in multiple disciplines across the region, work directly with managers and CEOs based around the world, and have creative freedom to build events, projects, and ideas. Regional travel may be entailed in the position.

The candidate must:

• Be fluent in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese
• Be proficient in design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, others
• This is for marketing campaign posters, flyers, and marketing materials 
• Be willing to learn website platforms including WIX & Squarespace
• You will manage of our main website, backend member only access, and our Expo website
• Create and manage local and regional events
• Be confident to call + email executives and members in all three languages to work with them through membership services
• Be proactive in order to work on your own and as a team
• Be capable of solving problems and finding better solutions for various implementations
• Be comfortable in handling general administrative duties

You will be working with the team to further engage our China members through our China Strategy. This entails communication with our partners in China as well as designing specific programs for and with them.  Further events will be coordinated in different countries including Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Philippines, some of which may entail travel to that country.

As your knowledge and skill grows, we will engage you to manage other projects around the region as well. This is an exciting opportunity to fully engage with your skills as well as learn many more while being a part of a very fast growing industry in Asia.
