Leading Financial Services Group, is seeking a Regional Solution & Enterprise Architect to play an instrumental role in managing the infrastructure across 5+ APAC countries.  This person will report and work closely with the AVP in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Define the to-be Application and Infrastructure Architecture, ensuring the applications, platforms and integrations align with the business initiatives and growth strategies.
• Ensure consistency of the architecture with overall Enterprise Architecture vision.
• Forecast new and emerging technologies to determine suitability for current and future needs. Lead the research and evaluation process to ensure the Application Standards adopt the appropriate technologies as they mature.
• As a key member of the business development and sales team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services.
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by reporting manager in order to meet operational and / or other requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
• Minimum 12 years or above working experience in related IT field, in MNC/complex environment, preferably in Insurance (Life) and/or Financial institutions.
• Outstanding communication (fluency in English and Cantonese) and presentation abilities as the role involves interaction with respective Country Heads in APAC.
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills at a senior level.
• Sound understanding of Project Management methodology, SDLC, Agile, DevOps.
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
• Understanding of strategic IT solutions
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
