Our client is a well established overseas bank. The bank is looking for an experienced finance professional to take up the VP, Regulatory Reporting post.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new regulatory reporting / accounting requirements
• Review HKMA returns, surveys and financial disclosure of HK Branch
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of head office reporting and regulatory returns
• Manage internal & external audit review
• Streamline reporting process and improve work productivity
• Co-ordinate / lead the trading platform migration project
• Coach and give guidance to team members
• Liaise with HKMA and address their queries
• Act as the central liaison party of operational risk for regulatory reporting team
• Perform assessment on new products including general ledger booking logic

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience gained from audit firms and/or banking industry
• Professional qualification in HKICPA or ACCA
• Solid knowledge in bank policies and regulatory reporting requirements of HKMA
• Strong analytical and report writing skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Conversant with MS Office application, particularly in Excel VBA
