Our client is a well-established Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) with a vast amount of core & value-added investments across Greater China region and overseas. They are currently seeking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join the team based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and perform audits to evaluate and improve internal controls of the Company
• Manage and supervise audit jobs throughout the planning, field work and reporting phases within specified deadlines;
• Identify risk areas and perform due diligence and compliance review
• Identify control deficiencies and formulate recommendations for improvements
• Design audit procedures for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system
• Provide proper procedural measures to mitigate any potential risks arising from internal control weakness
• Co-ordinate and communicate with all levels of management in arriving at practical and value-added audit recommendations;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or related disciplines with professional qualification of HKICPA or other equivalent qualifications
• 5-8 years of internal auditing experience within sizable corporates
• Big 4 audit firm background will be a plus
• Good command of written, spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

For candidates with less experience, the position Assistant Internal Audit Manager would also be considered.
