Overview of job 
GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Assistant Accounting Officer to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for handling day-to day accounting functions of the media agency and the shared-services functions of the group.

Reporting of the role
This role reports to: Senior Finance Manager

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

• You will be in pace with the GroupM’s value proposition and familiar with the company culture 

In six months:

• You will be able to make comments and on the agency’s financial performance and involve in the daily operation of the business and hands on in the supporting functions

In 12 months:

• You will be able to contribute to the group and the department’s success

What your day job looks like at GroupM:

• Assist in month-end closing including the preparation of journal entries and vouchers.
• Assist in the preparation of reconciliation and analysis.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Assist in annual / SOX audit;
• Handle administrative work in Finance Department
• Carry out ad hoc assignments when required

What you’ll bring:

• Exposure in MNC environment
• Experience in dealing with different stakeholders
• Opportunity to grow solid accounting knowledge

 Minimum qualifications:

• Diploma or above in Accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
• Good analytical and report writing skills
• Good team player, self-motivated and high sense of responsibility;
• Well versed in Microsoft Office applications
• Immediately available preferable
