The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the Finance Department and will be responsible for analysing and interpreting the requirements of the regulators and ensuring timely and accurate submission of head office reporting and regulatory returns.  Other responsibilities will include reviewing HKMA returns, surveys and financial disclosure;  Streamlining reporting process and improve work productivity;  Co-coordinating the trading platform migration project;  Managing internal and external audit review;  Liaising with HKMA and addressing their queries;  Performing assessment on new products and coaching and providing guidance to team members. 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant  and a degree holder in accounting, finance or related disciplines with at least 8 years related working experience gained in a bank or a Big 4 accounting firm.   He/she must have previous HKMA reporting experience and strong knowledge of banking products, accounting treatment and financial control framework, and must have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
