Requirements:

~ Degree in Accountancy from a Hong Kong University or equivalent; or is a registered student of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants;

~ At least two years relevant working experience (preferable in auditing or insolvency);

~ Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, with Grade E or above in both Chinese Language and English Language (Syl. B) in HKCEE, or equivalent;

~ Strong ability to work independently and good analytical, organization and communication skills;

~ Proficient in personal computer operations and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel;

Duties:

~to perform audit work according to standard audit program;

~ to assist in performing investigation work on prosecution of insolvency offences

~ to prepare or assist in preparing investigation reports;

~to assist in examination / audit of accounts of trustees submitted to the Office in accordance with Bankruptcy Ordinance;

~to follow up examination /audit enquires raised to the outside trustees;

~to maintain records of examination / audit of accounts and prepare /assist in preparing examination /audit reports;

~To assist in checking of dividend accounts for dividend distribution by the trustee; and

~to assist in other ad-hoc duties such as updating the accounts register, collating statistics relating to examination /audit work, etc.
