Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Responsibilities

• Review and approve of financial statements for internal management accounting;
• Liaise with external auditors for financial reporting;
• Respond to the queries and/or requests from Inland Revenue Department, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and/or Securities and Futures Commission etc.;
• Perform internal financial audits for the Group to uphold trueness and fairness of management accounts;
• Perform internal operational audits for the Finance Division to assess the efficiency and effectiveness in its workflows;
• Cooperate with Internal Audit Division with their regular or ad hoc audit projects;
• Budgeting, financial planning, management and control for the Group;
• Participate in the Group’s development projects, including but not limited to corporate financing business (i.e. Type 6 Regulated Activities); and
• Sit in Risk Management Committee for relevant decision-making

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance / Law, and a professional qualification of CPA (* CFA is an advantage);
• Trilingual proficiency in speaking and writing;
• Working experience as a CFO or Financial Controller in a Hong Kong securities firm is preferred;
• Working experience in corporate financing sector is an advantage; and
• Ethical, logical, detail-minded, efficient, motivated, resilient under pressure, responsible, dedicated to building a long-term career in the financial services sector.
