Requirements

• Polytechnic graduate in garment or textile discipline preferred.
  
• At least 7 years solid experience in quality assurance for branded garment merchandises and fancy fabric.
  
• Good technical knowledge in fancy fabric and garments printing as well as dyeing processes is advantageous.
  
• Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) among internal departments and external factories, suppliers and vendors.
  
• Passion and alignment with company mission, vision, values & operating principles.
  
• Good problem solving skills with desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
  
• BSCI / SA8000 system audit and implementation experience.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  
• Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.
  
• Highly adaptable and willing to travel whenever required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality assurance team in China.
• Sets internal and external system of policy (SOP).
  
• Carries out garments, fabric and fashion accessories inspection in China factories.
  
• Implements to raise quality standard and improves efficiency.
  
• Performs evaluation on mills / garment factories / dye work.
  
• Reviews the present / existing factories, ensures they know well on the operation layout and gives appropriate guidance especially on technical aspect and new techniques.
  
• Gives solution on workmanship, material foreseen problem.
  
• Handles complaints and provides solution on claims.
