We are pretty unique as we are a sizable company and part of a listed group but we still operate in an entrepreneurial environment. In Asia, we have 8 offices and around 140 employees. To help with our aggressive expansion plans in the Asia Pacific region, we are now looking for a strategic Rewards and Benefits Manager to join our high performing Asia HR team.

About the Role

This is an individual contributor role, directly reporting to Head of HR, Asia. The Rewards and Benefits Manager for Asia Pacific will be primarily responsible for the following: 

  • Lead and design the Rewards and Benefits strategy and initiatives for Asia Pacific.
  • Provide ideas and a strategic plan to elevate the function to be a proactive and a value adding partner to the business.
  • Collaborate and partner with our HR Headquarters counterparts to align and to share best practice. 
  • Manage and implement the HRIS system for Asia Pacific.
  • Drive process refinement and improve data integrity by identifying and building on existing processes and policies to ensure that we are efficient and are compliant to local regulations within the region.
  • Analyze, design and manage the incentive compensation framework including: remuneration, bonus and grading structure.
  • Responsible for full spectrum of operational tasks across the region, inclusive but not limited to, mobility, visa application, Employee contracts, personal file management, employee insurance, and other ad-hoc operational tasks to support the regional work force.
  • Manage the payroll across the region, lead and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Review and conduct salary and benefit surveys to keep abreast of market practices and latest economic trends to ensure competitiveness
  • Prepare and provide regular regional management reports, utilizing quantifiable measures to analyze the data against market activities to proactively make strategic decisions.
  • Drive or support in other ad hoc projects. 

About the Person 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline with minimum of 10 years of related HR compensation and benefits experience, incentive plan designs and delivery.
  • Must have experience working within Asia Pacific and in a fast-paced, multinational and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record and ability to influence stakeholders across departments and regions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative, pro-active and not afraid of hands-on and independent work.
  • Candidates with exposure in-house is highly preferred.
  • Must have excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Sense of humour and strong team spirit
