Job Purpose

Reporting to a Head of Application to provide application systems development, implementation, support & maintenance to cope with business & operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Application design, development and implementation according to SDLC
• Manage local or vendor application deployment team to deliver against tight deadlines
• Integrate solutions fulfilling business requirement, up and down stream systems interfaces, group systems requirements, security requirements and high availability requirement
• Monitor and control the critical success factors and key performance indicators of critical & sizable application projects rollout 
• Actively involved in and playing a leading role in critical and./or complex technical, functional and user support issues 
• Involve in IT application architecture changes  
• Motivate team members and stakeholders to work towards project goals and deadlines

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline(s) 
• Sound knowledge of investment banking business, products and operations 
• Familiar with investment banking systems implementation such as global back office systems, order management systems, execution management systems, portfolio lending, client onboarding, CRM, client reporting, enterprise service bus, etc. 
• Minimum 3 years' IT experience in investment banking / securities brokerage industry with at least 1 years at application project management, development and support capacity 
• Must be a strong team player who is able to manage team members and motivate others to deliver positive results 
• Able to work independently, pro-actively look for alternatives, under pressure with aggressive work attitude to complete projects with extremely tight schedule 
• Ability to interact with various levels of users in requirement clarification, application systems evaluation & recommendation according to business and operation needs 
• Knowledge in consulting, project management and proposal writing skills 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
