Job Duties

• Formulate, update, amend and implement operational risk management policy and procedures.
• Plan and support implementation of operational risk assessment, review risk indicators of the Bank to analyze business specific risk factors and monitor action plans.
• Provide guidance and liaise with business units to implement the risk tools to identify, assess, mitigate, control and report key operational risk at Bank and departmental level to ensure appropriate action plan is formulated, address control gaps and propose changes and recommendation on operational risk practice, procedures and measures.
• Review operational risk assessment of new products / services and outsourced activities submitted by product / activity owners and key changes of operational process of various departments; provide comments on impact of operational risk profile of the Bank.
• Design, plan and coordinate operational risk management training and / or activities for all staff to improve knowledge of operational risk and enhance risk awareness.
• Coordinate and participate in ad hoc projects in relations to operational risk management and coordination with Head Office.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above with major in Finance / Financial Engineering / Risk Management / Quantitative Finance is preferred.
• FRM or CFA holder is preferred.
• Good knowledge of operational risk management and internal control requirements, as well as process and procedures of banking operations procedures. Experience with investment and insurance products, asset management, etc. is an advantage.
• Proficient in spoken and written English & Chinese (including Putonghua).
