An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior settlement manager to join this company and to lead the operations and settlements function across the Asia Pacific region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the APAC settlement team in ensuring the accuracy of all settlement functions and ensuring customer satisfaction through the maintenance of service standard excellence.   He/she will work with operations teams around the world on process and systems improvement and will assist in the effective prioritization of product enhancements as well as partnering with the senior management team in developing strategy to improve operating efficiency and reduce costs.  He/she will also have direct contact with clients and will work closely with the front office team in addressing issues and queries in relation to operational matters. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of institutional equity markets settlement experience gained in Asia and good knowledge of the operational control, regulatory requirements and market practice in relation to the financial and securities industry.  He/she must have a positive and proactive approach to process improvement and change management, excellent people management leadership skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
