An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Counterparty/Credit Risk Manager to join a leading global provider of corporate banking, investment banking, private banking and wealth management services.  The role will best suit candidates who are seeking to take their risk management expertise and skills set to the next level and to contribute meaningful, lasting value to an already well-established and globally recognized yet rapidly expanding business.

The successful candidate will interact closely with different business lines on a day-to-day basis to manage counterparty risk exposures.  Duties will include: perform review and certification of counterparty credit metrics on market operations; identify and report on product variation; establish and advise on counterparty limits; and perform testing to ensure the accuracy of product credit exposure etc. 

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or above in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or related subject matters and will have at least 4 years’ of experience in counterparty credit risk with strong knowledge of traded products including derivative products.  Experience in IT projects related to treasury systems is preferred.
