Job Purpose

Responsible for defining and implementing the Travel underwriting strategy within the Group risk appetites and guideline in Hong Kong.  Supporting business development for assistance activities for Hong Kong

Position Responsibilities

• Put in place an underwriting and pricing process in the Company in collaboration with the other department in line with the Group risk appetites and guidelines
• Enhances underwriting and pricing procedures by providing improvement plan and gathering relevant data across departments (such as Finance & Operation Centres)
• Maintain and analyses relevant data for improving pricing strategy and competiveness
• Works together with Regional teams to develop products and marketing plans and validate quotation for each product
• Develops and maintains relationships with the heads of product lines in the region and home office
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competition and best practices

Education & Experience

• Degree in Financing /accounting or equivalent 
• 3 years’ of relevant experience in MNC environment is much preferred
• Extensive knowledge of relevant market conditions for specific class/portfolio
• Proven experience in preparing quotation
• Experience in accountability for both revenues and profits
• Strong analytical, numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good computer knowledge in MS Office especially in Excel
• Pleasant, stable, independent and have strong sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
