Our client is now looking for Java Developer/Architect and develop application on cloud platform (open for various seniority) and work on-site at a well-established bank in Hong Kong. You will be a critical part to join a large-scale project and to develop application using Java and cloud related development work in an Agile based environment. It is a great opportunity to touch on new technologies, work in a prominent bank and involve in a large scale project. Initially, this is a one-year contract, with competitive salary will be offered to successful candidates. 

What you will do:

- Design and develop an effective and secure system solution to meet the business needs

- Involve in full SDLC, including system analysis, design, testing and involve in front-end/back-end/API development Java applications

- Translate business requirements to technical specification, and formulate technical and/or functional documentation on system design

- Prepare test plan, test cases, set up test environment and perform testing

- Enhance the system quality and avoid potential problems, and provide on-going application support to users

- Collaborate with business analyst, project manager, and other functional teams in the Project Life cycle, assist in the requirement gathering, project planning and ensuring deliverables are met with the requirements

- Manage and coach software engineers and developers during the SDLC, provide technical guidance and support, and ensure the assigned task is completed on time

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines

- Minimum 5 years IT experience in Java/NodeJS development, familiar with Restful API and Springboot

- Previous experience in cloud related development work, familiar with AWS/CDN: Amazon Lambda, API gateway, ECS, EC2 and etc.

- Experience in frontend/backend design pattern, server application developing; familiar with Microservice

- Hands-on front-end development experience, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, VUE and etc.

- Experience in web security such as Open Auth

- Experience in Agile/DevOps, Jenkins or Automation testing is definitely an advantage

- Strong technical background, analytical and problem solver, team leader

- Keen to adopt the latest technologies
