Job Description

PatientCare Officer

Overall purpose of the position:

Our PatientCare Officers work within the PatientCare team to provide health related information and support to patients enrolled into our support programs. You are expected to optimise the time patients engage with the program, provide an excellent patient service experience and meet service levels and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the provision of personalised patient case management.  This will include scribed health coaching on disease/treatment, following up with patient on treatment regime, and ensuring patient is submitting relevant program document on a timely basis
  • Primarily responsible for making scheduled outbound calls to enrolled patients and supporting them in their treatment journey
  • Enrol new patients and ensure that all appropriate information is obtained as well as enter call log and all interactions in the PatientCare Management System
  • You will be supported with and be expected to follow the best practice medical guidelines and mentorship from the Operations Manager and our medical advice team
  • Assist in ensuring that programs are delivered within the appropriate service levels and standards including, but not limited to, case handling time, pre-defined protocols, and confidentiality of patient data
  • Proactively sharing information to the appointed program leader in order to enhance existing services to patients
  • Deliver any other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager;
  • o Assist with the coordination of performance reports, as required
  • o Assist with the coordination of service templates and operations procedures, as required
  • Training will be provided

 

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years of working experience in a patient/customer service environment
  • Diploma and above
  • Must read and write English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Good coaching and listening skills and demonstrate ability to motivate patients in order to assist them to achieve their goals
  • Able to evaluate a problem and take timely decisions
  • Have good computer skills to perform data entry
  • Previous experience in healthcare support and customer service is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 Expected Salary: HKD 17,000 per month
