The role of Mechanical Engineer is exceptionally challenging because it requires both technical
knowledge of electronics manufacture and the ability to communicate empathetically with internal and
external parties.

Responsibilities:

1. To work with internal departments to achieve the client’s requests and all the technical issues including mechanical construction, artwork design and tooling issues etc.
2. To make the construction design and come up with an drawing concerning the issues of material selection, reliability, safety requirements, manufacturing process, functionality and unit cost to meet the product specification etc.
3. To be responsible for critical parts/material sourcing
4. To communicate with clients to confirm product specification, feasibility and technical enquiry of the design.
5. To work with PIE, Production and Quality Department during pilot run and mass production ensure smooth transition from product design to production.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
2. 0-2 years of relevant experience
3. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidwork, CorelDraw
4. Knowledge of safety requirements and international standards
5. Exposure to the operation of production line is an advantage
6. Travel/station to Dongguan is required
