In order to enrich its staff in the newly founded TPH branch in Hong Kong we are looking for a Technical Sales Professional as:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

From our office in Hong Kong you look after existing customers in HK, PRC and SE-Asia, but also actively carry out new acquisitions. You’ll advise our customers on the selection of our products and applications, pursue the further development and cooperation with the customer. You are responsible for the competent technical advice of our customers with the aim of optimal use and sale of our products. You’ll organize and hold presentations in front of customers, at the customer's or at TPH's premises.

YOUR TASKS:

• Quotation and follow-up until the conclusion of the contract
• Contract negotiations
• Accompanying trade fair activities, participation in trade fairs or exhibitions
• Carrying out marketing campaigns
• Observing the market and the competition
• Customer demand, market and competitor analysis
• Information and technical advice to clients and planning offices
• Active development and expansion of customer relationships in the technical area as well as in the procurement departments.

Your task requires intensive travel from your office. As part of corporate strategy, you are responsible for planning and achieving your sales goals.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Engineering degree, preferably civil, or alternatively technical degree in construction profession.
• Several years of professional experience in the processing or distribution of consulting-intensive products.  Experience in civil engineering projects located in Hong Kong would be an asset.
• High professional and personal commitment
• Excellent contact and communication characteristics as well as poise.
• Independent, structured, target-oriented and solution-oriented way of working
• Good knowledge of MS Office especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good written and spoken English/Cantonese knowledge
