Main Purpose of the Job 

• Work under the Cost & Commercial team within the Program & Project Management servicing line in Hong Kong
• Responsible for leading and delivering total cost management services to our clients, as well as to demonstrate leadership and coaching to other Cost Managers and Assistant Cost Managers.
• Utilise relationships developed to identify and farm future opportunities and where possible taking a brief from a client and assisting in the preparation of fee proposals and submissions
• Lead best practice and knowledge capture within service and sector and support in developing and promoting the service line

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Provide support to the Service Leaders, and lead/assist in delivering professional assignments to meet client’s demand through clear strategy and proactive commitment
• Capable of taking a Cost and Commercial assignment from conception through to completion with limited supervision
• Work collaboratively with team members to manage related issues on the multi-disciplinary projects and liaise with stakeholders on requirements
• Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership
• Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver service excellence as well as to their professional development
• Assist the Service Leaders in taking responsible on manpower & resources planning, training development and performance appraisal of team members

Person Specification / Qualification

• Recognised Degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying
• Chartered Member of HKIS or RICS or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in Cost Management
• Proven successful track record working in corporate client and consultant firm
• Successful track record in managing major projects
• Fluent in English and Native in Cantonese; spoken and written
