Design driven trading company for seasonal items, gift, home decoration products strong in creative product innovation – mainly for US market

Job Description

You will be in charge of generating and executing ideas and creations product designs and ideas for home décor and seasonal collections. You will also be responsible for visiting factories and conduct artwork review and approval. As a manager, you will have to supervise a team and provide training when it is required.

The Successful Applicant

You will have at least 5-7 years of design, on home decor/season item in a trading company or buying office. You will be familiar with US market trends and good at hand drawing with various software. You are required to be knowledgeable in factories, products, materials and costing. You will have to be proficient in both English and Mandarin. You will have to travel to China and overseas when it is needed.

More Details

• Working experience in USA markets for Gifts, Home Décor and Seasonal items.
• Responsible for all creative product design work of the Company
• Able to work independently.
• Related experience in seasonal products design is a must
• Responsible for all creative self - initiative and flexible design work
• Provide product design and development services to customers, based on the guidelines and information given by supervisor and customers
• Research and identify suitable product and market trends for customers
• Assist merchandising term to sourcing and product research on trends, color, and trims for sample development
• Good product and material knowledge with good development skills
• Familiar with merchandising and product development process 
• Business level of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Literate in Microsoft office programs and design related softwares
• Well versed with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CAD and preferably 3D MAX
