Responsibilities:

• Assist the Design Manager with product and category trend research in the Housewares, Home Décor, Stationery and Bath Accessories – with specification to US and Western Markets.
• Ability to interpret trends into viable products for mass retails and big box markets.
• Assist in product ideation and rendering new concepts as directed by Design Manager, with the ability to clearly present and articulate ideas.
• Must be able to multi-task various projects within team environment.
• Work closely with engineers/PD team in China factory for the sampling stage.
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma holders in Product Design or related disciplines;
• 2-4 years’ full-time experience in related disciplines is preferable, fresh IVE / VTC graduates in related discipline will also be considered;
• Creative thinking, artistic flair and excellent sketching and rendering skills;
• Good technical engineering knowledge and able to create technical drawings;
• Strong in US/European market trend;
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office (3D software knowledge is an advantage);
• Good time-management, self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work under pressure;
• Station 5 days/week in HuiZhou factory is required;
• Immediate available is highly preferable.
