Technical Design Manager job description 

• Focal lead between the customers and internal department to facilitate product development status with solutions option to enhance the product.
• Pattern maker by 2D and 3D processes.
• Decision approval for full sizes foam pads based on pro-approved fit size; basic size and shape of rigid and bullet fabric mold cups in accordance to company’s standard.
• Expert technical support and trainer to the production / factory team on the required skills.
• Focal support to team members to solve production and development issues.
• Partner R&D and Engineering with follow through on the high technology development to design the jig & fixture
• Generate measurement specification and mold chart for production.
• Review details with check and measure sample based on full size grading.
• Issuance of sample order sheet to sewing team and follow up on HK & Seeds B status
• Prompt information provider on sample specification, material measurement, sewing methods and other details to costing team to generate BOM.
• Assist in fitting to make the necessary changes as required.
• Collaborate with relevant departments and customers in style review and pre-production meetings.
• Work on the time and action schedule with the Merchandising department through the sample development to shipment.
• Resolve materials issue with the sourcing team
• Act as back up for VP Technical, PD&D to attend senior management meetingw
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior and / or their designate from time to time.

Requirements: 

1. Bachelor Degree in Intimate Apparel / Clothing / Textiles
2. Minimum 7 years relevant experience in intimate apparel industry
3. Knowledge in mold & fitting different cups is a must
4. Experience in computer pattern making and grading
5. Proficient in MS Office Application, Photoshop and Illustrator
6. Good spoken & written English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage
7. Frequent travel to PRC and overseas trip to meet with customers
