Position Objectives:

• Work with the GM Sales & Marketing to create a strategy and timeline for growing the existing Asia Pacific business. 
• Work with the existing Asian team and factories to improve communication, manufacturing efficiencies and grow resource networks.
• Communicate with internal design and production teams to ensure the company has the required skills and competencies to work with the lead brands in the region to provide permanent retail display.
• Develop a marketing strategy targeting specific companies in Asia / Pacific zone.
• Establish relationships with decision makers and influencers in line with the sales and marketing strategy.
• Develop opportunities to design and manufacture new concepts for targeted brands.
• Develop opportunities and continue relationships with the existing client base.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Weekly written report, including sales figures to GM Sales & Marketing.
• Marketing strategy and schedule
• Create design briefs and schedulesfor projects
• Ensure that all information is entered accurately onto the company intranet in a timely manner
• Manage projects from start to finish to ensure measurable success against KPIs
• Be responsible for maintaining the proper level of occupational and environmental health and safety awareness in all activities without causing injury to yourself, your co-workers and visitors
• Understand and adhere to all relevant safety rules / procedures and accepted work practices

The successful applicant will:

• Have a proven track record in sales and business development in the industry or similar
• Have a sensibility for design and be able to communicate design basics; concepts, CAD drawings; manufacture terminology
• Speak fluent Mandarin and English; Cantonese desirable
• Be well groomed and dressed
• Be personable and able to deal with all types of personalities both internal and external
• Be confident, well-spoken and polite
• Be attentive to detail and be able to run multiple projects
• Have excellent communication skills - clear and concise
