Encompass Academy offers one-on-one therapy based on the principles of ABA, with an emphasis on Verbal Behavior.  ABA is an evidence-based scientific approach commonly used by professionals who work with individuals with the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders (ASD).  By systematically and effectively applying the principles of ABA, each individual’s strengths are recognized and utilized to build upon his/her weaknesses.  Specific concepts and skills are therefore targeted, acquired and generalized across people and settings.  Additionally, functional relationships between behavior and environment are assessed via the application of the principles of ABA.  Procedures and tactics are developed to target and produce observable behavior changes in individuals, which in turn assist them in being successfully integrated into schools and within the community.

Candidates must be:

• Bachelor Degree holder or equivalent
• Excellent in organizational skills
• Excellent in personal skills and willingness to be a team player
• Superior in written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm and passion
• Excellent in problem-solving skills
• Excellent in collecting data with accuracy
• Computer literacy
• Enjoy working with children
• Must be fluent in English

 
Therapist’s duties and responsibilities:

• Conducts 1-on-1 therapy (training provided)

• Organize and prepare teaching materials
• Communicate with other therapists
• Provide student’s family with verbal and/or written feedback in student handbook

• Any additional duties as assigned by Management Team
